Meta4 demonstrated their capability to take on international projects with the success of the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) Summit in 2007. This small independent agency was given another opportunity to showcase their expertise when they were awarded the tender submitted by the Global Aids Alliance (GAA) to coordinate the CEPA Advocacy Summit in October 2009 to launch the Campaign to End Pediatric HIV/AIDS (CEPA) initiative.
The GAA appointed Meta4 to co-ordinate the four (4) day event held at the Protea Balalaika Hotel, Sandton, with delegates attending from the USA, Europe and predominantly Africa. Meta4 was responsible for all aspects of the event from travel requirements through to on-site management, working closely with the client who was based in Washington DC.
This event clearly showcases Meta4’s ability to effectively manage events for internationally based clients and bring delegates in from all over the globe, enhancing our country’s exposure and promoting South Africa as a desirable conferencing destination.
But Meta4 not only brings people in – they also go to the audience if necessary for national events. Currently working on a conference roadshow that covers the three major regions of South Africa, Meta4 has excellent working relationships around the country and is able to implement these as expertly as if in their own back yard.
Meta4’s approach of achieving a Client’s objective is based on the simple strategy of going beyond a Client’s expectations. Enabling them to achieve this is a close-knit team which shares the same vision and expectations. |
